Keep your canine companion protected with a vaccination plan.
Puppies are vulnerable to some very serious illnesses. They have not had time to develop a strong immune system and if exposed to an illness that makes an adult ill, may be fatal to a puppy. Vaccines are given at certain ages in order to help maximize the protection from the vaccine. If the vaccines are not boosted or given at the correct timeframes, the puppy will not be protected from the disease. We offer a very comprehensive puppy plan that includes vaccines at 8, 12 and 16 weeks of age.
We offer DA2PP (distemper, parvovirus, adenovirus, parainfluenza) vaccine, rabies vaccine, kennel cough vaccine (oral and injectable versions), Lyme vaccine and leptospirosis vaccine.
It is important to properly vaccinate your puppy to ensure they are fully protected from these diseases. If the vaccines have not been properly administered at the correct booster times, the puppy’s immune system will not have built up enough protection to fight off the disease.
8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks of age
We look forward to meeting you and your pet on your first visit to Eastern Shore Veterinary Hospital. It would be helpful if you could bring some information with you to facilitate the process such as any treatments such as dewormers or vaccines are given by a breeder, medical history, type of food/treats and basic information about your pet, including age and/or date of birth. And of course, any questions you may have!
